UMass SGA

Hi everybody! My name is Madison Goldstein and I am the Associate Speaker for the undergraduate student senate for the 2013-2014 year. I am a sophomore Sociology major. Last year, I was a senator from the Central Residential Area. As a senator, I was the Chair of the Student and Academic Affairs Senate Committee.

Joining Student Government last year gave me an opportunity to meet a lot of interesting leaders on campus, and to learn more about UMass as a whole. I hope to use my capacity as Associate Speaker to continue to learn as much as I can about our campus, so I can work to improve it. I also aim to improve the inner workings of SGA, ensuring that all branches have a good relationship, and that senators continue to make positive changes.

Besides for SGA, I really like hanging out with my friends, shopping, watching UMass hockey games, getting Antonio’s pizza and going to A Cappella concerts (I am not a good singer, but I wish I was). I look forward to serving our campus, and I am gracious for this opportunity.
