UMass SGA

My name is Tim Katz and I am the Chief of Staff. I am a junior here at UMass and a double major in Legal Studies and History. I am a member of the Phallacies, a mens health performance group, and I also work at Career Services. I have also done work with CMASS. I look forward to bringing my diverse experiences to my position and really serve the students of UMass in the best way I can.

As the Chief of Staff for the executive cabinet this year I will have various responsibilities that will encompass several tasks. Essentially what I hope to fulfill this upcoming year will be making sure the executive cabinet runs smoothly. The behind the scenes work of making sure the office is well kept and well stocked, as well as being the face of the office for any students that have questions will be everyday things for this position. In addition to this the Chief of Staff will act as the liaison between SGA and RHA, Area Governments, as well as the Senate in some respects as the Chief of Staff will be making weekly reports to the Senate. Furthermore the Chief of Staff will be familiar with all on-going projects throughout the office and will be able to assist and answer any questions about them.
