About the Committee
The Finance Committee was established to correct any mistakes or unreasonable limitations on the budget a group has received or give out start up expenses necessary for select RSOs. The Committee uses the SGA Reserves to provide emergency funding to groups as a last resort.
Groups seeking funding must fill out the Finance Packet, as well as the Budget Request spreadsheet, and submit both to the Finance Chair. The Chair will then meet with groups prior to their committee hearing to go over the application. During the meeting, groups will present their application, and the Committee will deliberate and vote on the amount to fund. Allocations over $750 must then be voted on by the full Senate.
FY12 Emergency Request Application
Please fill out both the Finance Packet and the Reserves Request, and email both, along with a copy of your FY12 Fee Account Budget, to the Finance Chair:
ALL PAPERWORK REQUESTS MUST BE E-MAILED TO THE CHAIR 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE WEEKLY FINANCE MEETING!!
